Day 28 - Name one thing you shafted all month in favor of participating in NaNo.
Christmas gifts. Since I’m knitting a lot of my gifts this years I decided to get a head start before November started on knitting everything. Unfortunately since NaNoWriMo had started I really haven’t been thinking about knitting or sewing or anything other than writing and trying to stay caught up with my 365 photo project. So once NaNoWriMo ends I see a lot of knitting and sewing in my future.

I am so done writing for today. 2,000 words exactly. wheee
Day 27 - What’s your word count now? Are you satisfied with your progress or panicked that you won’t have enough time to finish by November 30?
My current word count is 53,778, which I am very happy with. ^_^
My goal for this year is 60,000 words, so I’m still not finished yet. But as far as the original NaNoWriMo challenge is concerned I’ve already reached the word count goal ^_^
This is mostly because I decided that I was going to write 2,000 words everyday, regardless of how much or little I wrote the day before. Plus 2,000 is a nice even number and if you multiple it by 30 it gives you exactly 60,000 words ^_^

Ok, I’m still not sure where this is going, but at least I’m not feeling completely stumped. I’m actually thinking of making the stairwell thing more metaphorical and having her ‘wake up’ in the world she is (probably) from once she reaches the top of the stairway, thus meaning it was all a ‘dream’. Or at least in a different timeline she traveled to. dunno….
Day 26 - Was any research involved (historical or otherwise) in your NaNo prep?
I spent a lot of time looking through the dares thread….. that’s really the only amount of ‘research’ I really did. Oh, and getting inspiration from random videos.
*looks at incomplete outline* o_O”
*looks at unfinished story* …..
*headdesk* >_<
I have no idea what I’m writing any more ;_;
I really need to learn to outline my endings ahead of time….

yep, not a whole lot happened today. Mostly dream sequence randomness since I’m still not really sure I’m I’m ending this story o_O”
oh right, and I’m going for 60k this year, so I won’t confirm my novel till I get to that word goal. Other wise I might loss the drive to finish this story…
Day 25 - What are the names of at least two of your main characters? How did you choose their names?
The names of my main characters are Alicia and Lilly. I guess I choose Alicia for the main character because of it being a variant of Alice, and I think we all know who that’s referencing. I choose Lilly for the secondary main character since it goes along with her “pretty like a butterfly” (referencing the title Sadistic Butterfly) thing she has going on while being a crazy axe murderer. ok, she’s not really an axe murderer, she’s a shovel murderer ^_^

So close to 50K that I was almost tempted to just write the extra bit to get to it. Though since I’m going for 60K this year I decided I liked the idea of going to bed more than staying up to write those extra 300 words.
and I am now into the area of my story that I have no outline for. This should be… interesting…. I really need to learn to plan my endings before November comes around o_O”
Also, I don’t know why all of my characters end up in white rooms at toward the end of my stories…. I’ll have to make it a rule to NOT include ‘waking up in a small white room’ in next years NaNo.
Day 24 - Is religion featured in your novel at all?
If so, which ones? If it’s/they’re your own creations, describe it/them and how it/they play(s) a part in your characters’ lives.
The answer is no, religion is not featured in my novel what-so-ever. So, N/A for the rest of the question.
