So I was talking with my husband about my old D&D group, which consisted of 4 girls (including myself) and one guy GM. I always thought that fact was funny and would make a good base for a dating sim/visual novel thing. One idea I had was the role playing game having it’s own plot line that effects what the characters thinks of the player both in and out of game. Like how if you make a bad roll the GM can decide how badly your character screws up in game; if it’s a nice person nothing too horrible will happen to your character, but if that guy is a jerk, well….. yeah. So I was thinking of having different choices of how the player can run the role playing game and being given the chance to either be nice or complete jerks to the girls.
Well, long story short, my husband told me that I should write it and then I was bitten by the old plot bunny…
No, bad plot bunny! Stay back, I already have a plot idea for July! I even almost have characters, I just need to name them! Any way, I thought I locked you up in a cage with all my other old story ideas and threw you guys into a basement somewhere. Why are you still here?: ;_;
*clear throat* any way, since I’ve already started planning my “MC dies in the first chapter” story for Camp NaNoWriMo in July, I might end up doing this one for NaNoWriMo in November instead. Heck, I could work those plot generator plots into their role playing game, that would be fun ^_^

I might actually use one or both of these for NaNoWriMo. Like maybe the reason the film student ‘went crazy’ was because s/he ran into the cursed (I’m guessing naked) prince while s/he was out filming a domino video in an old house…. or something. I’ll worry about the details after Camp NaNoWriMo in July is over. ^_^
I made my July Camp NaNoWriMo characters with dreamself.me. I don’t know why, but I’ve decided that the secondary main character will be a cat girl. No real reason, I just think the cat ears are cute ^_^
She’s going to be something of a village ‘doctor’ in the place that the main character gets killed in. I’ve also decided that she can preserve bodies with magic, which will be the reason she gets to take our dead main character back to his homeland.
Well, this story should be interesting write ^_^
I think I’ve pretty much decided on writing that comedy/fantasy thing I had been talking about. Since the main character dies in the beginning I’ve decided that he is going to be the one narrating the story, which will be fun since I’ll be able to add in amusing cometary. ^_^
Now I just need to come up with more characters than just our MC, who probably needs a name or at least some sort of back story and personality.

Wow, so today is the first and Camp NaNoWriMo is officially over. It feels so strange not having to write today o_O”
Though now I need to start planning for Camp NaNoWriMo in July. I am determined to write something different, something that isn’t horror or has anything to do with virtual worlds or people in comas have nightmares. No, I need to do something else, because honestly I feel like I’ve been writing the same novel for a past 3 years….. just with slightly different characters and setting. So yeah, maybe I’ll do a fantasy/comedy? That could be fun ^_^
Heck, if that is what I end up writing I even have a really, really old plot idea that I’ve been meaning to write forever. Basically the story starts off with the main character dieing and then follows his body as it is delivered back to his homeland, only to be accidentally revived by the Life Stone that he had originally retrieved for his dead king (or whatever). Unfortunately the thing only had one use, so the poor guy is forced to start his journey over again.
It would be different and probably a lot of fun to write. Let’s just hope that those plot bunnies from my past NaNoWriMo novels don’t get out of their cages, like they always have a tendancy to when I am trying to come up with somthing new and different. Just leave me alone (old) plot bunnies, I don’t want to incorperate everything from past novels into current ones ;_;

YAY, I WON!!!! I am finally finished with this novel! I am so happy that I won’t have to write tomorrow. I am just so burnt out right now…. also the weather is starting to get hot, so my brain has been jelly the past couple of days due to the heat. But it’s all over now and I can just relax and maybe contemplate editing my novel in a couple of months. (I need some time away from it…. We’re not getting a divorce, we’re just separating for a little bit and maybe seeing other novels…. wait, what am I talk about? See, the heat has already gotten to my brain. mmmm, brains….)
